Memorial services for Robert Samuel Murner, 72, of Piedmont will be Sunday, April 15, 2012, at 2:00 pm at Dailey Street Baptist Church with the Rev. Tim Smith and the Rev. Garry Brown officiating. Mr. Murner died Friday, April 13, 2012 at Gadsden Regional Medical Center. He is survived by his wife, Teresa Murner; son, Tim Murner (Dani) of Kennesaw, GA; two daughters, Tammy Pace (Ken) of Marietta, GA and Tiffany Murner of Piedmont; two step-sons, Chris Burgess (Ashley) of Marietta, GA and Josh Burgess of Acworth, GA; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; four sisters and one brother. Mr. Murner was a resident of Piedmont for the past nine years and was a member of the McDonald's Coffee Club. He was a member of Dailey Street Baptist Church and was a United States Air Force veteran. Flowers may be sent or memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O.
