Lindsey Harbour

Funeral services for Mr. Lindsey Harbour, 68, of Piedmont will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Piedmont Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. Mr. Harbour passed away Friday, September 6, 2013 at Gadsden Regional Medical Center. Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Brenda Joyce Harbour; five daughters, Lynne Adkins of Duluth, GA, Elizabeth Harbour of Piedmont, Angelique Turner (Willard) of Anniston, Penelope Harbour of Fairburn, GA and Andrea Corbett (Michael) of Douglasville, GA; three grandchildren, Shtoria Porter, Katerria Corbett and Yakira Corbett; his mother, Lillian Harbour of Piedmont; two sisters, LaVada Burroughs of Piedmont and Kathleen Houston of Douglasville, GA; one brother, Charlie Louis Harbour (Paulette) of Toledo, OH; two brothers-in-law, Jerry Ammons and George "Pee Wee" Ammons; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Pallbearers will be nephews. Mr. Harbour was a native and lifelong resident of Piedmont. He was a member of Thankful Baptist Church and re-dedicated his life at Saint Lukes F.B.H. Church. He retired from Garcy Corporation, enjoyed fishing and playing checkers with his cousin and checker partner Jerry Harbour. He was a loving husband, father, son and brother. Mr. Harbour was preceded in death by his father, Charles Harbour.
