Kay McCord Daniels, 74, of Piedmont passed away Monday, April 27, 2020 at Gadsden Regional Medical Center. Survivors include her husband of 53 years, James Daniels of Piedmont; son, Blake Daniels of Piedmont; daughter, Jenny Gibson (Michael) of Hollywood, Maryland; four grandchildren, Kaylee Kumar, Gavin Kumar, Dylan Daniels, and Hannah Daniels. Pallbearers will be Gordon Kirby, Ronnie Morrow, Sammy Holbrooks, Mac Singleton, and Mike Gibson. Mrs. Daniels was a longtime resident of Piedmont, a graduate of Piedmont High School, and attended Jacksonville State University. she was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church of Piedmont and loved spending time with her family. Mrs. Daniels was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Tommie Lee McCord; and brother, Jack McCord. Graveside Service for Mrs. Daniels will be private.
