Graveside service for Kailey Jade Hunt, 16, of Piedmont will be Sunday, January 03, 2021 at Highland Cemetery at 2:00 P.M. with the Rev. David Cox officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday from 12:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home. Kailey passed away Monday, December 28, 2020. Survivors include her mother, Stephanie Hunt (Josh); father, Kevin Measles (Deidre); two brothers, Landon McMurray (Nicole) and Kason Measles; grandparents, Eric “Flea” and Teresa Hunt of Piedmont; three aunts, Erica Hunt, Dixie Hunt, and Jamie Measles Alewine (Jason); several cousins; and special “sisters”, Destiney Pruitt, Raven Baker, Brooklyn Lewis, Maggie Watts, and Morgan Gidley. Pallbearers will be Mitchell Fagan, Josh McMurray, Austin McMahan, Silas Thompson, Malachi Jackson, and Jason Alewine. Kailey was a resident of Piedmont and a member of Piedmont Church of God. Kailey was in the 11th grade at Piedmont High School, where she was on the Blue Knights Dance line. She was a beautiful, amazing person who was so full of life. She loved everyone, especially her family. Kailey was preceded in death by her uncle, Shane Hunt and her grandparents, James and Dianna Measles.
