Services for Johnny Moore, 77, of Piedmont will be Wednesday, December 05, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home with the Rev. William Cain officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery. The family will receive friends from noon until time of service at the funeral home. Mr. Moore passed away Monday, December 03, 2018 at Gadsden Regional Medical Center. Survivors include daughter, Janice Kines (Mike “Cathead”); two sons, Terry Moore (Tresa) and Eddie Moore (Marie); six grandchildren, Lacey Trammell, Kasie Moore, Joshua Moore, Marissa Wright, Matthew Kines, and Maranda Kines; six great grandchildren, Lillie Ann Trammell, Jack Henry Trammell, John Samuel Trammell, Ashton Martinez, Elaina Moore, and Archer Moore; two sisters, Bobbie Ingram; and Gail McGatha; and his significant other, Glenda Bentley. Mr. Moore was a lifelong resident of Cherokee County. He was a member of Asberry Baptist Church and Retired from the Anniston Army Depot. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Moore; and parents, Alfred “Speedy” and Annie Mae Moore. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions be made to Piedmont Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 333, Piedmont, AL.
