Gail Frady Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Graveside services for Gail Frady, 81, of Piedmont will be Thursday, April 15, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Piedmont Memory Gardens with the Rev. Hayward Clark officiating and Thompson Funeral Home in Charge of arrangements. Gail passed away Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at her home surrounded by her family. She was a longtime resident of Piedmont and a member of the Piedmont Congregational Holiness Church. Gail loved her family, spending time with them and spoiling the little ones. She was a very loving, caring and giving person who was always there for her family. For many years, she and David were the owners and operators of Frady’s Gateway Restaurant. She was preceded in death by her husband, David Frady; parents, L.B. and Flora Cook; brother, Tim Cook; and sister, Luvenia Conaway. Survivors include her godchildren; Brandon Cook (Sumer) and Angela Payne (Jason) all of Piedmont; chosen grandchildren, Anna Grace Cook, Landon Cook, Gauge Cook, Kyson Payne, Asher Payne, Ryder Payne and Remeigh Quinn Payne; two sisters, Sue Douthit (Hank) and Sandra Lester (Wayne) all of Piedmont; sister-in-law, Arlene Cook Anderson of Piedmont; nieces, Christa Heard, Megan Barnett and Ashley Barnett; nephews, Trent Conaway and Cranston Barnett; great nieces and nephews, Trinity Kirby, Pheonix Kirby, Alivia Langford and Everlee Langford; best friend, Barbara Moss; and longtime friend, Ted Gregg. Pallbearers will be Brandon Cook, Jason Payne, Johnathan McCurdy, Charlie Anderson, Sammy Holbrooks and Vernon Ray. Honorary pallbearers will be Chris Payne, Keith Payne, and George Ammons. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Amedisys Hospice, Kara Howard, Randi Green, Sharon Mabrey, Joel Williams, Bob Hundley, Dr. Warren, April Helms and the other nurses at GRMC for their kind and loving care.
