Franklin Brownlow Forrister Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Graveside service for Franklin Brownlow Forrister, 57, of Fort Payne will be Saturday, July 30, 2022, at 3:00 p.m. at Faith Baptist Church Cemetery with nephew, Pastor Johnny Lee Medley officiating.Thompson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends at 16 The Wagon Road, Piedmont, AL 36272 beginning Thursday at 3:30 p.m. Mr. Forrister passed away July 27, 2022. Survivors include his wife of 9 years, Mary Forrister of Ft. Payne; one daughter, Andria Reeves (Stephanie) of Centre; one grandson, Kristoffer “Superman” Reeves of Centre; one granddaughter, Victoria “Tori” Reeves of Centre; five sisters, Judy Barnes of Piedmont, Rachel Medley (Johnny) of Piedmont, Linda Motes (Ricky) of Piedmont, Teresa Timms (Kenneth) of Cedartown, GA, and Melissa Taylor (Henry) of Piedmont; one brother, Howard Forrister of Piedmont; several nieces and nephews; and fur baby, Josie. Pallbearers will be Kristoffer Reeves, Joshua Forrister, Daniel Studdard, Scott Gilbert, Ben Gilbert, Curtis Taylor, Randy Pizano, Matt Pizano and Jeremy Motes. Mr. Forrister is a resident of Fort Payne and was a former resident of Piedmont. He was a loving son, father, husband, brother and papa. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren who were his pride and joy. He was a Southern Craftsman, enjoyed working and had to always stay busy. He enjoyed going to the casino and hanging out with his buddies at Dogtown Store. Mr. Forrister was preceded in death by his father, Arthur Franklin Forrister; his mother, Sarah Forrister Waller; three sisters, Langley Studdard, Karen Owens and Ellen Forrister; three brothers, Floyd Forrister, Junior Forrister, and Edward Forrister.
