Frances Helen Lane Wright

Funeral services for Frances Helen Lane Wright, 79, of Piedmont will be Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Thompson Funeral Home with the Rev. William Cain officiating. Burial will follow at the Community Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Ms. Wright passed away Saturday, January 26, 2013 at her home. Survivors include two daughters, Ava Murphy and Frankie Reynolds (Billy) all of Piedmont; one son, John Wright (T.J.) of Piedmont; five grandchildren, Andy Wright, Allie Wright, Amanda Reynolds, Kyle Reynolds and Elijah Murphy; six step-children, and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Pete Lane, Billy Reynolds, Kyle Reynolds, Henry Reynolds, Kenneth Maddox and Joey Lively. Honorary pallbearers will be grandchildren. Ms. Wright was a Piedmont resident most of her life and was of the Holiness faith. She retired as a waitress and had worked at Barnett's Snack Bar for many years. She was a talented singer and had performed with her brothers several years ago. She was preceded in death by her parents, General and Lula Lane; one sister, Mary Leu Champion, and five brothers, James, Percy, Bill, Frank and Noble Lane.
