Earl R. Ingram Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Funeral services for Earl R. Ingram, 87, of Spring Garden will be Saturday at 7:00 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home with the Rev. David Ingram and the Rev. Michael Burgess officiating. Graveside services will be held Sunday at 9:00 a.m. at Union Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 5-7 p.m. Mr. Ingram passed away Thursday, March 7, 2013 at Gadsden Regional Medical Center. Survivors include one son, Kenny Ingram (Janna) of Spring Garden, one daughter-in-law, Linda Ingram of Rockmart, Georgia, seven grandchildren, Adonna Jackson, Shane Ingram, Melinda Graves, Jeremy Eads, Jeff Eads, Jennifer Parris and Heath Ingram, 15 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Shane Ingram, Jeremy Eads, Jeff Eads, Taylor Eads, Heath Ingram and Bret Parris. Honorary pallbearers will be the Senior Sunday School Class at Union Grove United Methodist Church. Mr. Ingram was a lifelong resident of Spring Garden. He was a member of Union Grove United Methodist Church, was a U. S. Navy WWII veteran, retired from Ft. McClellan and Springs Industries, and enjoyed spending time with his family and hunting and fishing. He was preceded in death by his wife, Laura Ingram, a daughter, Barbara Joan Eads, a son, Donald Ingram, his parents, Ed and Lela Ingram, three sisters and three brothers.
