Clint Mobley Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Funeral service for Clint M. Mobley, 59, of Piedmont will be Monday, October 18, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home with the Rev. Sherry Donaldson and the Rev. Kenneth Boles officiating. Burial will follow at Piedmont Memory Gardens with military honors. The family will receive friends Monday from noon until time of service. Clint passed Friday, October 15, 2021 at Gadsden Regional Medical Center. He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Allison Mobley of Piedmont; one son, Dustin Mobley (Dana) of Piedmont; two daughters, Whitney Hammett (Jason) of Piedmont and Olivia Colvard (Josh) of Fayetteville, N.C.; six grandchildren, Eli, Macie, Kyleigh Grace, Liam, Carter, and Karson; mother, Clyde Mobley; one sister, Cindy Minton (Johnny) of Piedmont; and one brother, Chester Mobley (Judy) of Acworth, GA; father-in-law, Gary “Babe” Hincy; and many nieces and nephews.Pallbearers will be Dustin Mobley, Josh Colvard, Deven Hincy, Charles Givens, Skylar Fontaine, Scott Minter,Chad Minter, Brian Harden, Jeremy Mobley, Ethan Ritter, and Brent Hill. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jason Hammett, Tracy Cain, Bill Ritter, Johnny Minton, Troy Minter, Jim Simmons, Jubal Donaldson, Luay Matalka,David Kirk, and Michael Washburn. Clint was a longtime resident of Piedmont and was a former member of the Alabama National Guard with over eleven years of service. He was a former employee of Springs Industries with over 30 years of service and was a former employee of Goodyear Tire and Rubber with 9 ½ years of service. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, cooking, spending time with his children and grandchildren, and watching his children and grandchildren play sports. Clint was an avid lover and supporter of the University of Alabama football and Spring Garden basketball. He had a kind spirit and loved everyone. He was preceded in death by his father, Lewis Mobley; brother, Carl Mobley; and his favorite fur baby, Sugar.
