Memorial service for Cathy Pody Martin, 60, of Piedmont will be Thursday,March 28, 2019 at 6:00 P.M. at the First Baptist Church with the Rev. Michael Ingram and the Rev. Hollis Martin officiating.The family will receive friends one hour prior to services. Cathy passed away Friday, March 22, 2019 at Princeton Baptist Medical Center in Birmingham.Survivors include her husband, Johnny Martin of Piedmont; children, Cara Cantrell and her husband Brent and son, Corey Wallace, all of Piedmont; three grandchildren, Brantley Cantrell, Brodey Wallace and Brianna Wallace; two brothers, Mike Pody and his wife Melinda and Carlton Pody, all of Piedmont and one sister, Dawn Pody of Saks. Cathy was a lifelong resident of Piedmont and a graduate of Piedmont High School. She was a former employee of Springs , enjoyed working in her yard and traveling. She loved her family especially her grandchildren. Cathy was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Carolyn Pody.
