Funeral service for Betty Singleton Wallace, 82, of Piedmont will be Thursday, August 13, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home with Mr. Gary McCurdy officiating. Burial will follow at Piedmont Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services. Mrs. Wallace passed away Tuesday, August 11, 2020 at Piedmont Health Care Center. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, George Wallace of Piedmont; one son, Alan Wallace of Piedmont; sister, Koneta Jones (Glen) of Piedmont, brother, Mac Singleton (Patti) of Piedmont; Sister-in-law: Media Jane Singleton of Florida; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Wallace was a long-time resident of Piedmont and was a former employee of Watson Drug Store. She was a member of Lebanon Church of Christ and she loved her family with all her heart. She was preceded in death by her parents, Curtis Lamar Singleton, Sr. and Verena Singleton; and two brothers, Howard Singleton and Lamar Singleton, Jr.
