Betty Reynolds Bishop Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Funeral service for Betty Reynolds Bishop, 91, of Piedmont will be Wednesday, July 20, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Thompson Funeral Home with Dr. Bill Reynolds officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Mrs. Bishop passed away Sunday, July 17, 2022. She is survived by her daughter, Glynis Watlington (Perry) of Pell City; son, James W. Bishop II (Cindy) of Piedmont; son-in-law, Woody Lowman of Jacksonville; brother, Dr. Bill Reynolds of Jemison; sister, Juanita “Mutt” Patrick of Saks; grandchildren, Debrah Fragoso, Teresa Waits, Alisha Henson, Bret Watlington, Carl Watlington, Amanda Turner, James Bishop III, and Candace Gilmore ; 17 great-grandchildren; 6 great great grandchildren and many beloved nieces and Nephews. Pallbearers will be Carl Watlington, Gavin Turner, Devin Turner, Tyler Bishop, Ray Dyer and Zach Fragoso. Honorary pallbearers will be Ryan Fragoso, Joshua Henson, Tim Reynolds, Jaxon Turner, Jesse Bishop and Ronnie Motes. Mrs. Bishop was born January 26, 1931 to Jeston and Mamie Lou Reynolds. She retired from Federal Mogul and enjoyed quilting. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Donnette Lowman; sisters, Nell Craven, Frances Dyer and Joyce Livingston; and a granddaughter, Maranda Raulerson.
