Patsy Frachiseur

Funeral service for Patsy Frachiseur, 82, of Piedmont will be Friday, April 26, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home with the Rev. Michael Ingram and Rev. Matt Rose officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery. Mrs. Frachiseur passed away Friday, April 24, 2024 at her home surrounded by her family. The family will receive friends Friday one hour prior to services. Mrs. Frachiseur is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Glen Frachiseur of Piedmont; two daughters, Pam Jordan (Kenneth) of Demopolis and Patrice Hunt (Robby) of Leroy; five grandchildren, Jill Martin (Andy), Derric Jordan (Amanda), Coti Pritchett (Shade), Josh Hunt (Kaylynn) and Zack Hunt (Crystal); 12 great-grandchildren, Jaley Martin, Tucker Martin, Sarah Martin Jordan, , Rowdy Jordan, Barrett Pritchett, Reid Pritchett, Mason Hunt, Charlee Hunt , Jacob Martin, Brooklyn Broughton, Carson Hannah and ,Grayson; three great-great grandchildren; one sister, Carol Ballard (Frank) of Southside; and one brother, Kenneth Wilson of Glencoe; and several nieces nephews. Pallbearers will be Kenneth Jordan, Robby Hunt, Derric Jordan, Zack Hunt, Josh Hunt and Randy Frachiseur. Honorary pallbearers will be Ronnie Morrow and Gordon Kirby. Mrs. Frachiseur was a native of Guntersville and had been a resident of Piedmont for 44 years. She was a member of Piedmont First Baptist Church and was the secretary for the Sunshine Club for many years. She was a very articulate writer and would write articles for the local paper about the Sunshine Club. She had a passion for reading, enjoyed all types for music, cooking and was an avid Auburn fan. She was a glass ware collector, enjoyed traveling and had been to 48 states. Her greatest accomplishment was her family. She took pride in being a wife, mother, and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Ethel Wilson, mother and father-in-law, Lila and Louie Frachiseur; sister-in-law, Virginia Walker and a brother-in-law, L.P. Frachiseur. Special thanks to Dr. Russell Ulrich and staff and AGP Hospice,especially Hollie Oliver and Bridgett Poole, for the love and care given to Mrs. Frachiseur and all the family.
